Powered by the proven Cat C15 engine, the 986K is built for durability and multiple lifecycles. It incorporates a planetary powershift transmission with an integrated impeller clutch torque converter (ICTC), allowing the operator to modulate rimpull for efficient loading without spinning the tyres. The operator station offers class-leading ergonomics with STIC™ (Steering and Transmission Integrated Control) steering, which combines directional selection, gear selection, and steering into a single lever for effortless operation.
